NoWhere is SumWhere
Updated: Feb 26, 2019
Bouncing off the plane in Seattle the other morning, I got a rush of adrenaline reminding me of why I love to travel. So many people, so many faces, and yet, not a single one knows who I am.
Who Am I?
I am a body of flesh and bones, changing every single day. I am a beam of consciousness, connecting me to the whole...
But when you put a bunch of candles in one dark room, can you really divide whose light is whose?
In a world so focused one's single identity... who am I, who am I, WHO AM I!?!?!... I not only observe, but also experience, the pressure to be some THING.
But why can we not just be sum ONE? As an enlightened man once said...
"The grass grows by itself."
(With the help of the Light of the Cosmos, of course!)
It's when I step out of the dark and into the light, I am naturally lifted upwards. No agenda to follow or plans to uphold. It all just naturally happens.
The other day, rolling out onto the plane of Unknown, the various voices, various pressures all reduced to a sole.
Listening inwards for the silent knowing.
As the holidays approach, many of us off of work, I encourage us all to allow our reduced schedules to be an opportunity to get back in touch with ourselves.
The journey is not what others want us to do, but how best we can simply be.
No one, no where, I finally arrive.
